Junior Board member and Social Media Manager

Heris Salek, “Bean,” is a 15 year old, freshman at Awty International School. Even though she was born and raised in Houston, she plans to attend college abroad in order to focus on the intersection of criminal justice, psychology, and international affairs. She is fluent in two languages, English and Spanish, and currently studies Farsi.. Heris is the youngest contributor, volunteer and social media manager for the Susie Bean Gives foundation. As the social media manager, she blogs weekly for foundation’s site on cutting edge research pertaining to children and parents while tweeting daily on various topics such as: SBG news and helpful hints for parents. Since 4 years old, her passions have been horseback riding, tennis, running, fashion, guns and classical piano while taking care of her many pets. For now, Heris is living life as a rock star in Houston!
